Alright, just when I thought that there's no more way but up, guess I was wrong. I'm not complaning, it's just the way things are. We can't do anything about it. Life must go on. The fight must go on. They will be another hand to be dealt, another chance to see a brighter day.

To those of you who have shown support, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Guys, you have no idea how much it meant to me receiving those words of encouragement from you via SMS or other means. You keep my bankroll in this game called life seem limitless. Thank you.

Mom, wherever you may be, I know that you are in a much peaceful place now. Thank you for the numerous sacrifices you had done for us. You are and will always be my hero and my best friend. There is no way that I can pay you back, but my plan is to show that I understand. You are appreciated.

Another Home Game

Played an 8 man SnG last night, mostly against people new to the game, but there were a few who were starting to improve. Hats off to Bri for using my favorite hand J-4 to win it all. I officially denounce that hand from now on, and I also denounce drinking good scotch at the table. I busted out when I saw my J-4's and I had a couple of rounds of scotch in me already, so I gambled, and of course, I lost.

But we played another game, and I showed Fish how it's done. Haha. A little short-handed 3 man winner take all SnG, and got the win. Got my money back from the first game and a little extra for my school lunch for this week. :D

Yo Fish, straight forward poker is the way to go huh? hahaha.

Missing In Action

It's been a while since I posted something that has really something to do with poker. Why? It's because I have not played for about two months now. Gottta get my education done for the poker gates to really open up for me. The promise land.

The smoke, the steel door, the MSG of the cup noodles, the dart board (hey, what happend to that dart board?), the overall gansta feel of the state of mind, miss that place. Well, as they say, shit happens, and the only thing for us to do is to wipe it off our ass and move on. The good thing is that there are a lot of games these days, legit or gansta, social or war-like, you can find the game that suits your needs.

I Damn You Pikachu!

This week I got two SMSs asking where to buy poker chips. So I told them where they can avail of the clay composite poker chips. I guess mostly everyone owns a set of poker chips, some even poker tables! :p It is a fun way to spend a weekend together with friends or family, battling it out on the felt taking ones chips/money. Playing it out til the end until one claims victory and bragging rights hehe.

The best thing about this is a lot of new people are coming to the game. Playing the game they saw on the celebrity poker showdown... But the sad thing about this is, the poker blogs don't have much traffic anymore. How I hope that the people playing poker now can just give 5 minutes of their precious time to visit the number of blogs online (they might learn a thing or two, that I'm sure) Our number of readers decreased! from a whopping 2 readers... now there's only 1 reader!!!

I think that there's one reason why this is happening... it's because of that damn pikachu... All it did was dance and frolic, it was funny but it wasn't funny anymore when he tried to manipulate, connive and even threathened the lives of people who gave it respect and friendship.

I'm glad that was over, pikachu is gone now and something important went with it...
