I Had a Lucid Dream Last Night

I was there shuffling looking down at my short stack. I look at my hole cards and see A8 off, the dead man's hand, I call the re-raise. I wasn't playing my game at all, making stupid calls, playing marginal hands, giving people loose passive action. My bad moves cost me a whole lot of money, I was left only with one chip. 'A chip and a chair they say...' I slowly move my one chip on to the felt. I knew I was dead at that time, sharks at the table were smelling blood a mile a away. They were going to call me with no hesitation, but then everything stopped, everyone at the table froze. Then a blinding white light flashed, I was there again looking down at my short stack, I look at my hole and see A8 off, 'deja vu'. I look at my chips, thinking of calling but I stopped for a while and closed my eyes. It took me a few seconds to clear my head, then I was there... I was at a clearer state of mind. I fold.

I end up going home with 10k.
