The Unforgettable

It was the first time in that I would go to a casino to play a NLHE tourney. It sure was an experience to remember, I'm extremely glad and thankful that I was given the opportunity to participate the Airport Casino's First Texas Hold'em Tournament, the last blast before the new year.

They did save the best for last...

The Airport Tourney was the grand finale for this year. The main highlight of the event was the speech given by Mr. Nick Galan who shared a short anecdote on how much work was done to make things what they are now today! The wonderful people of PAGCOR did a great job with the dealers, tourney set-up and importantly giving poker a home here in the Philippines (and we know it's just going to get better folks.)

The grand finale had 115 players, a prize pot of 575,000 pesos, 15 standard poker tables...making it the biggest tourney before the year ends and Casino Filipino opened their first cardroom located at the 2nd floor of the airport casino.

Did I mention the chips? The chips were exclusively made only for poker use (if i'm not mistaken) It reminded me of the paulson chips...*drool*

Thanks to Tito Nick and FutureBet Asia for giving us the chance to participate in the event. Visit fbapoker.com for more information about FutureBet Asia.
