spirits... pbbbth. i started hating that word after playing this game. haha.
tagna unang kalaban namin freakshow.
la pa ata 30 mins 11-0 hahaha! putek di man lang kami naka pasa ng more than twice per possession. yung bumabantay sakin 6'9!

haha some of the ppl we play with keep saying "spirit of the game". maybe it's just our competitive nature that we just don't find it convincing. our motto is, "be careful or be roadkill." haha now that's the spirit.

hmm typical of macho filipino male reaction. felt the same too when i first watched and observed the game.
then i learned that those people who keep saying "spirit of the game" are the fucking awesome players who will probably kick our asses in a game anyway.
but once youve played a Beer-in-hand game, then youll know what "spirit" theyre talking about! yeah!
IF you need an introduction to the REAL game of Ultimate, call me, Princess Phat. Being a disc player for 4 years, you should have joined, OR at least watched the Manila Spirits to know what the game is really about. The game of Ultimate promotes and lives on Good Sportsmanship, or else there wouldn't be Ultimate frisbee. That's why regulations in the game are solely relied on the calls of the players themselves.
